not exactly.. just bashing on the v6 doesn't help here.

I've seen the LLT v6 beat a 94 z28.. so i'm just saying.. v8>v6 isn't always true.

If you read back they started it from coming in here saying there V6 smashes GT's and there slow. So it took GM 15years to make a v6 that can compete with the LT1 Your saying?

But I'd take that race against that 2001 Stock GT. (I know, I also own the GT(2003) and my 1/4 mile time slips are better in the camaro)... 13.5 ish vs 13.8ish. Drag radials, and a CAI on the Camaro. The GT bone stock other than a sticky set of tires (Not drags though)

Stock/vs stock. its still a drivers race and I am fast on the tree...
Not saying you cant take one at all. But its a drivers race with the edge to the mustang. Even at speeds after 100 the gt would pull

The v6 doesn't "smash" a gt.. however, it can beat it.. i've seen it done, and time slips on here show it too.

most likely a drivers race.

hell.. it's the same argument as the ss vs the 5.0.. i've seen it both ways, i've raced a 5.0 and won 2/3 races... a missed shift is all it takes.

2005 mustang gt.. 13.6-14.2
2011 camaro llt.. 13.7-14.3

that's what i turned up..

i own a v8. so i only know so much about the v6.

If you really do go to cecil you would notice most of them run low 15s all day. The low 14sec times come from magazines with professional drivers. Sure people can hit low 14s but I see most run low 15s while the GT will avg low 14s. Which is true. It's not great for a GT in this day of age. But it only takes little mods to make them very fast. A v8 will always respond better to mods then a v6. Even with a tune. Thats just how it is. And you owning a v8 you should know that. I'm sure you got your v8 for the power And larger aftermarket world Same reason I'm getting the GT.
