Im thinking of skipping this now. I have a feeling its going to be more RPG and less MMO.

Plus I need PVP and instanced pvp gets old.

Haha. I'm the exact opposite I guess.

When I play MMOs, I mostly solo except for the mission-chain type events (Raids in WoW, Task Forces in CoH, etc.) and I never do PvP. Just holds no enjoyment for me.

I don't mind soloing, but customization is a must for an MMO. Seeing every smuggler running around in the same model Corellian light freighter = not cool. Need more ship choices for sure. But then... I have extremely lofty standards for what I want in a Star Wars MMO And I doubt I'll see those met anytime soon.

Irocnroll, yes world pvp, but the ability to kill your own faction as well. I enjoy playing both sides of the spectrum. I usually have a bunch of good players, and a murderer pk. I had over 25,000 kills during the last 5 months I played on ultima online. I quit when Mondain's Legacy launched (with the new race being implemented).

SWTOR just lost my interest because it had a huge lull from the trailer to now, and it's not even coming out soon.

Customization for sure: theres a reason I used to play CoH a ton and currently play Champions. I really enjoy creating characters - more than almost any other thing.

My main point though was that I really don't care about the PvP system. I'd actually rather have no PvP than any kind of PvP system, but I realize that would be impractical. A lot of players enjoy PvP so it wouldn't make sense to remove it completely.

I jotted everything down and will bring it up during the interview. We also have a game demo appointment with them so we will get to run through one of the flashpoints. I am bringing both a Roland Digital Voice Recorder as well as an HD Flip Video recorder and plan on posting everything on the site in my sig.

I created an guild yesterday, or recreated should I say. It was my guild from Star Wars Galaxies. It wasn't every big but I'm trying to find some of our old guild mates. My brother should be registering soon, he was part of it too.

If anyone wants to join it'll be a west coast guild, moderate rading/group etc. It's called Section VIII. Just sign up an account there and you can join.

Here are some of the interview videos we took. The private ones are on Audio and I havent loaded them yet. Still have about 5 more files to upload and edit.

Also got the play the game for 45 minutes at the show. OMG is this game amazing. I got to play the Jedi Knight, my two guildies and RL friends played the Consular and the Trooper. Some other guy we met at the show played as the Smuggler. We managed to get to the boss but wiped twice. The first time was they didn't tell us that when you down one of the bosses, the other enrages. The second was someone AOE taunted by mistake and snagged both bosses at once. Had that not happened we would have won. Got both of the bosses to 10% and died from the Taunt.

Then we ran out of time and they had us leave for the next group of players.

I think I'll buy this game and try it out for 30 days. If it shows potential, Ill continue on. Im kinda tired of the wow and wow clones.

They mentioned anything related to your character development is Single Player. You can choose to bring friends along with you to do your class quests but its not required. Flashpoints will be Group based but you are not required to participate in flashpoints. There is no impact on your characters story for not going into flashpoints.
