never wear straps, no need. If you can't hold it, then work grip exercises.

Hope everyone survived the weekend, it's Monday and here in MN that means it snowed on my commute to work. Legs are a little sore from yesterday's HIIT session, pushing it as hard as I can to lose this fat.

I am with hrpiii. In 25+ years I have never, ever worn straps for anything. I can tell you I do dumbbell rows with 160's and have pulled 500 before. (Yes my deadlift blows compared to my other lifts lol) I've always had a fair grip, but like hrpiii said train your grip. A lot of people associate forearms with grip and to some degree it is but its your actual fingers...easiest thing you can do in almost any gym is hexagon dumbbell holds using your fingertips.

idk if I agree with the no straps, I could see using none if you are into grip training but you see some of the strongest guys wearing straps and I don't think my gym allows chalk (my hands get sweaty)

Told you above...

Any type of holding anything with only your fingertips will improve your grip. But you must also "practice" holding heavy things for time to improve it as well. Pick up some heavy dumbbells and hold them (talking about in your palms now).

Also google fat gripz and captains of crush.
