Only if you drive short commutes in the city will that beat a sub-compact. Plus with the price mark up you see over conventional gas engines you're better off even getting a Cruze because it will take 8 to 15 years to make up the difference in the mark up. Don't forget batteries don't last forever also.

And what does ford advertise for the fiesta?

Might be 40 for the sonic, but I'm sure with a light foot, someone in a sonic can get 42 as well.

Raindear run on love and magic... not batteries or gas... Same with pixy dust and a witch's broom. And the fuel economy on those is like a gazillion.

They are two seperately engines. 1.4 turbo or 1.8 non

Its 39 or 40 highway depending if you get an automatic or manual. I'm murdering the EPA rating every run I do for work each day.

Well, the LS3 is advertised at 24mpg and I get 26+ consistantly

1.4 only comes in M6 right now. They say auto will be available later
