Thanks, I'm tempted to look for a good deal on some to see how it changes things. I have a feeling I'll end up just waiting for the next system after tomorrow's reveal...

Dumb question, but did it enhance the pointer accuracy? The pointer was accurate when I had an old 32" tube TV, but after I upgraded to a 32" LCD HDTV the pointer didn't match up to where the remote was pointing. It made 1st- and 3rd-person shooter games less fun...

Pointer accuracy has nothing to do with the TV, it's all in the positioning of the sensor bar.

Not even! You did pretty well actually. I realized last night how much I hate the dumb thunder cloud item. It always seems to come up at the most inconvenient times.

true, but it does make the colors more vibrant, I noticed a HUGE difference on how games looked from switching to a old 4x3 tube TV to my 32" LCD TV. now if you are going from composite (yellow) to component on the same TV you may not notice a difference. I had my old xbox hooked up via composite and scored a set of OEM comp cables for it for cheap and hooked up the xbox via them, did not notice that much of a difference but on the Wii, I did, but results may vary .
