The gears are just icing no the cake, the 2011 GT by no means the gear to compete with the SS.

It is a drivers race between the SS vs GT.

Let me see if I understand what happened...Ford Motor Company gave Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords a new 2011 Mustang to test. Hmmmm, if I were Ford and wanted to sell a whole bunch of 2011 mustangs, what would I do the test car before I delivered it to the magazine? We'll really have to wait until the new Mustangs are bought by regular car guys and brought on down to the local 1/8th or 1/4 mile...right???

Any good driver, knows that 2.0 60 foot times is bad. Get it down to the 1.4 - 1.6 time range for the 60 foot times, and the car would of been easily down to the 12.2-12.4 times in the quarter mile.

Like the driver stated, there was really bad wheel spin. Fix that issue, whether it be driver error or what not, the car will be fine.

If your talking (stock) 60fts the best these cars will see is 1.8x-1.9x. On my 12.58 pass it was a 1.97 but Blufin has gone as good as 1.87. However if your talking with D/R it is probably more in the 1.6x-1.8x range. My Chevelle 60fts in the 1.4xs but thats 10 second territory.

Incase you are thinking ringer, 3 other private owners have posted dyno results nothing below 371hp, and 3 private owners also posted 12.7 times, so there goes the "ringer" argument. unless they all got ringers?

edit: bbr racing got their 2011 gt, posted 373hp on the dyno.
that's 4 private owners, now to see if they can drive it I guess.
