Was that Terminator time corrected for DA?

It's that simple, what can YOU get out of the car not what others who drive for a living can. And let's face it most buyers of these cars are average to way below average when it comes to driving it how its meant to be. Point here is stop the Benchracing.
Really... Mike Bowen a Pro??? Sure he owns a small performance shop in Erie, PA but he is not a professional Driver. A good Mechanic but not a driver. I am a better driver than Mike. LOL Mikes a Cool guy, he built my friends V6 2005 Mustang Turbo that Ran 10.8 @ 122 before he lost the motor. He now runs a 5.4 Triton truck motor with a turbo.

To Clear up some info that was posted, Mike ran a 12.7 bone stock at NMRA
here was his post at S197forum.com

On the factory wheels and tires the car went a handful of 13.1x and a 12.94, and a 12.95, best MPH was 111.

Drove the car to Atco for the NMRA event and ran truestreet, the car ran 12.77, 12.78, and 12.85 all at 112mph. 60fts all hovered around 2.0

So let me just say that the car is pretty stout in stock form, The e.t. above can be trimmed on a bit as I had wicked tire spin into second gear every time, with tires I would have to guess that the car would have 12.40's maybe even a .30.

Our car is just simply a 400a "premium" with no other options, 3.31 gears!

With a little over 1000 miles on the car I can say that this is definitly the best mustang GT ever made. Super Quiet, Super Comfortable, Super Fast.

All this at nearly 26mpg at nearly 85mph for each leg of the 900 plus mile round trip.

I'll try get up some vid and pics.

Nice run. The 18" rims on the mustang give it a rear axle advantage.

I think he is wearing a shirt. He just fills it out a lot more than you're used to.

All you ever seem to do is bitch and complain about there being Mustang and Mopar owners on this site, even when we keep our posts in the proper area. If you want to furiously masturbate over your Camaro with others, go get a bunch, find a private garage and do so! The exclusionary bullcrap of "LOL THIS IS A CAMARO SITE LOL GTFO" is getting really freaking old, really fast!

The majority of us are polite and keep our arguments/posts/etc well reasoned and informative. Yes there are bad apples, but there are more than a few bad Camaro owners on this site also, same with Challenger owners with ChallengerTalk and Mustang owners with TheMustangSource. Now..if you dont mind, could we get back to discussing Muscle/Pony cars without a comment form the peanut gallery about how this is a Camaro site?

Danke!

Hahaha!!!!

+1!

It's freakin hilarious how allllll these ford guys are here on the CHEVY site to let us know how cool the car that isn't out yet and/or none of them own is. hey ford guys, it's an awesome car, love the 4v motor. but i can read between the lines. a 3.66 1st gear? 3:73 from the factory? someone's trying to give that poor pony a lil juice out the hole, but it's gonna choke. stop messing with the lil motors already!

i got a chevy because i got tired of losing. if you can't beat'em, buy a Camaro.

you're smokin rocks. you call it "superior", i call it coming up short. 4Vers need the blower to make them fast.

I am not saying he is a bad driver, he's not, but he is not a Professional.. he is a car guy like the rest of us. Sure you get a guy who never raced at the track and put him in a 2011 Mustang or 2010 Camaro and his first time out he may run a 14.0, after 20 runs under his belt he then will be in the 13.0 range.
But to say he is a pro without even knowing him is ridiculous. So the poster I responded to is implying that since the car ran 12.77 stock the guy must be a pro is laughable. yet some here imply that the Camaro will run 12.5 with an average joe driver, really!!

The tranny might be a weak link in the 2011 GT. The guy that went 12.77 stock said after 30 passes the car has developed a howl in every gear.
