No reason to hate on the car. 707 hp is insane. Who wouldn't love to have a factory car with that kind of power? My only issue is the little rear tires that will come installed from the factory. It must have a kick ass launch control system to handle that power.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of 707 HP? Reducing power and applying the brakes at launch.

I really don't care all that much. I love the ZL1 that I already have, it's perfect for me.

Somebody pointed out on classracer that the boosted HEMI is having oiling and head gasket issues. Not sure where the info originally came from.

Regarding the Viper, funny you leave out the part where the all new 2013 Viper GTS that costs $15,000 more, LOST against the 5y/o ZR1 both in a straight-line and around Laguna Seca. The Viper team had 5 YEARS to best the Corvette. 5 YEARS. What happened? They introduced the GTS in 2013 only to have it EMBARRASSED by the C6 ZR1 http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...srt_viper_gts/

Next they introduced the 2014 Viper TA and FINALLY managed to beat the outgoing, 5/yo C6 ZR1 around Laguna Seca by a whopping 0.08 seconds.

This is why Viper sales are in the tank.

http://www.autoblog.com/2014/03/19/s...er-slow-sales/

http://jalopnik.com/is-the-650-hp-co...ers-1588262012

The man said specifically the Viper TA beat the ZR1.

Care to explain how that is half truth? Its 100% truth.

Now had he said the new viper beat the zr1 that my friend would be half truth.

It will be interesting to see if this is true. It will be fast...but will it live up to 707 HP?

There is always a production car with more power. Unless you are ballin' so hard you change cars like underwear, it matters not.

I Agree and I think it will sell at that price

Z28 75K and it is a track car that most will not use at the track

with the hellcat I see a lot of people taking it down the 1/4 or stoplight to stoplight

What good it does do anyone , if one can have 7000007 HP , if you can't put it to the ground ?
At some point someone would have to understand that just because you have a $350 Nike shoes , it won't make you run any faster to make a difference !
