Yeah, you run a cable from the amp to the pedal, then a cable from the pedal to your guitar. You just go the drum beats and you can speed it up and slow it down. It has blues, rock, r&b, country, rap, and all kinds of styles of drums. Plus, the guitar effects are really handy. You'll never get bored messing with all the noise you can make.
