Indeed, I am very suspicious. Looking at yesterday and today's DA's there for the approximate temperature he gave shows 2000+ DA. However, maybe he is really an amazing driver. However, I won't hold my breath on this run just yet.

Thats exactly what im saying! Alot of 2011 GT talkers were claiming pwer to weight ratio BUS lengths on the Camaro. Its now been prove 2 for 3 car reviews, the camaro wins in the 1/4 mile when tested on a level playing field.

I think the 2010 Camaro beat the GT in a burnout contest too but theres only been one of those test. On a side note the guy driving the cars had a Grave Digger hat on so that must add about 15hp per car.

i'd like to know how they pull 111.5 mph out of the GT when every other run has bee sub 110 with the exception of 1 that i can think of. Everone knows the GTs only chance is on the short end, with its gears and close ratioed trans. The camaro pulls on the big end and thats why its trap speeds have all been consistant at 110.

The L99 in the Camaro uses VVT as well. But those who are making jokes about V-tech are generally referring to the ricers who think that it is some sort of magical performance boost at high RPM. Its not a knock against the technology itself.

also the camaro has way more torque and wider tires, the weight really only helps the handling department.

I the vtec comment goes to DOHC 4 cams with VVT or 4 VVT gears and a enough chain to pull yourself out of a mud hole if ya get stuck!!
