Which is well over the 360-370 the SS puts down. So no surprise there is a significant difference in traction at WOT.

There's a ford dealer here that has about 6 2011 GT-500's sitting out in the lot right now. they have a KR in the showroom too that I've seen the salesman fire up and rev the pants off. It sounded EPIC .. literally world ending black hole creating noise.... but I certainly would not buy a car from that dealership haha

So it's not entirely impossible he found one to drive around.

Starting it up and revving the piss out of it a few times is very, very different from taking it out on the street and beating the snot out of it.

The salesman who showed me the GT500 at Crater Lake Ford( Mark Unger, great guy!) started the GT500 and revved it up pretty good a few times to get the S/C whining..but thats it.

Yeah you're right. But I'd still like to know my brand new KR hadn't had that done to it. Pretty much pinning it off the rev limiter. Lots of popping and gurgling in the exhaust when he let off. It made me very happy inside haha but I would still not pay for that particular car. If any car I own is going to try to have the pistons come through the hood, it better damn well be my foot doing it haha.

this particular dealership also sells Jaguar and Volvo. the salesmen on the jag side heard the KR fire up and replied by revving the Jag XJ in their side of the showroom haha

that was a fun day to be browsing

Bingo, I can launch a Stock 2011 5.0 on the street with no problems. Do the same thing with my GT500 and the backend is sideways. Having 400+ RWTRQ pretty much from the jump tends to do that. Honestly for street driving I'd rather have the GT. It's scary when you're not sure if you can take a Mazdaspeed 6 off the line because your spinning like crazy.

Not true. More like 460-495 depending on the dyno and conditions.
