The Z28 will be lighter. Your comparing a top of the line CADILLAC coupe to a high performance CHEVY. It will be lighter than the CTS by quite a bit. My guess is it will be at 3900lbs. They have to keep the weight down to compete with the GT500. The Z28 will be missing some luxuries much like the Z06.

The Z28 will probably be about 4,000lbs. Figure another 100lbs for the supercharger. But they can save a few pounds with slightly lighter weight wheels.
I think the CTS Couple looks like a hatchback too.
