"Hello. My name is moron and I'm going to go out and act so stupidly on the roads today that I could KILL a family! WOO HOO!!! This sounds like so much fun! And, let's video tape it all so we can all have our licenses REVOKED!!!"

Ladies and gentlemen....if there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's have all the fun you want at the track....AND NOT ON VIDEO ON PUBLIC STREETS!!!

I hope and pray all the morons that participated in the jaunt had their licenses revoked. I mean....a guy in a vette who can't drive for crap.... another who can't handle the power putting his vehicle into a family sedan. and another who stops all traffic on the highway basically pulling a spyhunter smoke screen?? Dude...you can't see in front of you....I'd arrest his ass in a heartbeat!!!

What a bunch of utter morons. It's sad.

I wonder if that vid will get them in trouble like the kids who stopped traffic on the freeway doning doughnuts and burnouts? The police got all the plates from that vid and went door to door.

Just seen the vid, an that has to be the stupidest thing I've seen in a long time. Is that what inbreeding does? Make you so freaking stupid that you put innocent people in danger just to get your jollys off?

I agree. In California any visible mods will likely get you pulled over by the police. They can because of CARB laws. They enforce them so heavily (and completely ignore speeding, traveling slowly in the left lane, forcing right hand lane passes, talking on cell phone, etc) because "that's the easiest way to catch street racers". The police themselves have openly admitted to discriminating against anyone with mods in an effort to stop people from doing stupid stuff like this. And so we all suffer.

Not to justify this, but what we really need are more tracks and road courses. Its getting harder and harder to find either with an open day. They keep shutting down out here, not due to lack of business but because of rezoning, lease renewal problems, etc. People who want to mod their cars and drive them fast need a safe, controlled outlet. Sure there will always be idiots like this who will still do stupid crap on public roads for the thrill and "rebel" factor, but for the rest of us we want a place to have fun safely, legally, and not get a bad reputation.

Can't even comment about this.. this is one of the reasons that my car will look stock from outwards appearance. No association with this kind of thing...

As for the other guy I LOVE burnouts as much as the next gearhead, but it's not a good idea to smoke out the entire 3 or 4 lane highway when there is traffic.

It's sh!t like this that gives us car guys/girls a bad name.

Ok who is next to comment?

The guy in the corvette was a serious dumass. That would be the worst place for an accident.

On the highway? Really? That's beyond dumb. Complete lack of responsibility and respect for the lives of others. They should be riding buses, not muscle.

Wm Holden, though your intentions were no doubt genuine; I think very few people can actually learn from this. It takes a special kind of stupidity to organize a meet and burnout/drag down the highway. Such a special kind that very few people posess it. Imvho, this is at best a reinforcement of why we don't do this stuff. They are all VERY lucky that that didn't turn out worse.

Honestly, I'll probably be repremanded for this, but if something like that happened to a loved-one or friend of mind, I'll probably end up going to jail for my actions to those involved. This is about the most sickening disregard for life I can think of at this moment. Sure, I've had my moments of indiscretion, but never as blatant as those. I think this is a good reminder of how to conduct one's self because had one of those ****s killed someone with their cars, it wouldn't have been any different than if they flat-out shot an innocent person in the he@d. I'm serisouly sickened.

Not to mention, like stovt' said, I've literally been pulled over for something like this. I was actually on my way to the track (where I could race safely and legally) and actually got pulled over for slotted taillight shades. The officer was only looking for excused to pull cars over (on their way to the track - which is what was the most ironin - where we're going to race safely and legally) just to get under their hoods and poke around. I took my medicine because even though I had all my smog equipment and operational cats' he just wanted to bust every last person. But I digress... These are the kinds of people that cause stings like this to happen.

Sorry so long

It really does take a special kind of stupid. If I were one of the stopped cars, I would've called the police for sure.

I've dreamed of building my own track here in SA if I ever came into millions...like winning the lotto. I know it's crazy thinking, but one's gotta have dreams right!

So, I'd take my millions and buy up a thousand acres or so....as much is needed for a few tracks.

First and foremost, I want a track, track...twisties, hills, drops, straight aways, etc. Like the Nurburgring? Yeah...that's what I'm talking about (but kind of on a smaller scale).

Then, it's a 1/4 mile track that'll be a little longer than normal...just for those days of stomping on it a little farther

i'd like an oval track, but this wouldn't be too important on my priority list.

Track would be open Wed-Sun....maybe 5pm to midnight. We'd have monthly memberships, competitions w/ prizes (like free racing, open track day for you and a guest (in the am when no one else is there and you can race over and over, etc), car shows, etc, etc, etc.... I'd build my house out there on the property back in the back. It would have a race shop, fuel shop, concessions, THE WORKS!!!

Really....I've given it thought. It would bring in countless people...and I'm not talking some rinky dink track either....people would come from 200 miles out to race for a weekend type of deal.

You want to get rid of stupid like the video? Take their cars and their licenses. Driving is a privilege...not a RIGHT. Don't want to get in trouble? Take it to the track where EMS is staged in case something goes wrong.

Dreams...
