Probably off topic but who the hell designed that on ramp anyway? Traffic coming at you at probably 60 mph and you have to hope that noone gets into your lane at the last minute?

And on another topic. But why can't I burn rubber in my Camaro SS? I can even do that in my Ranger. My camaro just hooks up and takes off, even while using the brakes. My friends can easily do it in their Trans Ams.
start a new thread and tell me everything...mods, tunes, problems, etc.

seriously i watched this in disbelief thats the most irresponsible thing i have ever seen.

i dont think there is anything to learn from watching that video. it is simple common sense not to do things like that. really its just lucky that no one got killed.

This is why we banned or tell the guys who do that crap not to come back.

They put not only themselves in danger but everyone around them.

Lessons learned.
1 Too much power in the wrong hands is dangerous.
2 Showing off for peers is dangerous.
3 Bunrouts are for the Strip, not the highway
3. You can't fix Stupid.

No, no, we DO need to slam this crew because people need to realize that people get killed this way and it is NOT okay. I've lost friends because of irresponsible drivers, and they'll get no mercy or understanding from me.

On the highway? Really? That's beyond dumb. Complete lack of responsibility and respect for the lives of others. They should be riding buses, not muscle.

Dumbasses...the lot of them. And this is not me passing judgement or hating. After the video, saying that is merely an observation: they've managed to label themselves very clearly as such. Were I in any position of control -- I'd have the entire group disbanded. Making a SPORT and VIDEOTAPING those cars on a BUSY public HIGHWAY?!? uh-uh...no.

Wm Holden, though your intentions were no doubt genuine; I think very few people can actually learn from this. It takes a special kind of stupidity to organize a meet and burnout/drag down the highway. Such a special kind that very few people posess it. Imvho, this is at best a reinforcement of why we don't do this stuff. They are all VERY lucky that that didn't turn out worse.

I'd like to think we are all above it...but then I see the tape and realize...we are not.

Those are more regular kind of people then we would like to think...JMO.

If it was just a person or two goofing off....I'd tend to agree. But what really strikes me is that this whole thing was organized...that's terrible.

No kidding. This is collective stupidity at it's worst. You would think one person in that group might say "you know, doing burnouts on the highway may not be a good idea since it can be easy to lose control of the car."

I mean seriously. On a highway? I know not everyone has access to a strip, but there's got to be a backroad or something.

I sincerely hope that all of those guys gets their licenses revoked and their cars impounded. This is beyond stupid. This is pure idiocy. I love doing burnouts, but on a crowded freeway...hell no.
