The M14 up top is actually very solid...made out of plastic, but the moving parts assembly and barrel is metal. The M4's action feels flimsy but has held up for over four years now. The MP5 is pretty solid, and the G3A3's plastic is cheap as hell but the action is fine.

Hmm... whats the maker on that M4?

I was looking at possibly getting an echo1 m4.

P.S. - Why are 98% of airsoft reviews done by 15 or 16 year olds who probably have no real weapons experience...

Some crappy Chinese brand. I bought it at a flea market after talking the guy down to $20 from $26.

The Echo1 guns are pretty solid. I've heard a lot of good things about them.

Yeah... I'd probably get this one if I ended up getting one. Might add it to the list of things to get for the fest if we decide to organize some airsoft fun there.

I'd go with a full barreled M4. It'd be more accurate.

Long distance, yeah... Close distance shorter barrel would allow you to get on target faster...

Yeah, that one. I don't know, my M4 has the shorter barrel and the accuracy suffers as a result. Then again, it's a cheap plastic one.

I've grown pretty partial to the M14s. They're not as mobile as the M4s or M16s but they offer a decent combination of accuracy and firepower.

Oh, and this should be 9,000.
