Airsoft anyone???

Airsoft anyone???

Just wonder if anyone plays with em, though there is nothing soft about them in a 10ft radius.

Just thinking about it, ordered 2 pistols for xmas gifts.

Still got a pistol, and a ubar cheap sniper rifle one with a 10ton spring and a 5cent plastic body, feels like its gonna fall apart just cocking it so its never used.

Yes. I own four guns, an M14, an M4, MP5, and G3A3. All spring guns, can't afford to buy or maintain AEGs.

Been a while since I played though.

They're basically low-powered BB guns. Paintball without the mess. They shoot little plastic BBs which don't do any real damage...unless you get shot point-blank. Then you might bleed a little.

The crappy thing about them is because they shoot such a small pellet, they're really unpredictable and can be really inaccurate.

Wink

I have this gun, it is the same make/model/style as the one Lara Croft used in the 2 Tomb Raider films, but i liked the all black instead of black with silver (the part you slid back to cock it). It has mostly metal parts and it FEELS like a real gun. and since it is based on the gun from the films, you can release the clip from the gun in your left OR right hand, great if you have a 2nd one .

Never had the cash to get into it, but was coaxed many times in HS to join. Again, cash wasn't always open for that sort of stuff.

Wish we could set something up for fest involving airsoft. I could probably rig up an airsoft minigun.

Heh... I have two guns - used to be three, but I gave one away to a friend who wanted to get into it.

I haven't played in a while though... just no time.

They are fun, even my Grandpa enjoys em.

Though I’m into the cheap clones, I’m just plunkin, not the organized pricy stuff.

Shooting crap around the house or paper targets.

They do hurt up close, and they do fly n bounch all over and ya never know where its gonna go. [so get a paper target capture net] Though they can be pretty accurate with the heavier 6mm BBs the cheap 2000 for $1 ones can be goofy.

I weed out the bad plastic ones by pouring them in water, ones with trapped air bubbles [a defect] will float n don't fly striaght. Those with trapped air can explode into pieces too.

I have a hair trigger mod I came up with and it seems as they nearly all use the same trigger parts.

Its helps allot in shooting straight.

Also a nice home made paper target I use on the page.

You can get some nice ones on ebay cheap, got 2 pistols for $23.99 shipped, just only buy form those with 100% feedback and a good return policy.
Cause some sell crap. [ like my sniper rifle.]

Though one neat thing I saw on the bay when looking was a RC tank that shot 6mm airsoft ammo, was only like $60 shipped. Battle time
