Or just dinner...remember: you don't want to condition her in getting good things right away.

Diamonds work every year for me. I get the most return on my investment for the least amount of work.

Knowing you personally...the first date being at Taco Bell doesn't surprise me

For me...wife and I don't celebrate Christmas...so I'm going to San Diego on vacation!

You know me too well!!!

Being we were both college students back then, it was appropriate.

To Xanthos: spending time with you should be a gift to her in itself. You have to be the prize that she has to earn!!!

What me and my girl do now is that we make lists for each other, so I can pick and choose what to get her!

We are taking each other to the Cotton Bowl and we're driving Lilly if the weather is good.

I'll let her unwrap her gift when we get to the Hotel room.

Also, picked up this today: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=380136301682

Going to remove the scarf and add a tiedye shirt and a knit sweater.

For the SNL fans...

A suggestion...

Side note: In my Vegas trip last December...one of my buddies wore one (hanger went into his pants to hold box up) and we walked around the strip with it...fun times...too bad I don't have the pics of the crazy night and we were all sober lol

My hubby got me the best valenmothersbirthmas day present EVER.... a red hot chick named Rosie. She's as smooth as silk and she purrrrs like a kitten. When I get her warmed up she takes me places I've never been. The best part is... she loves it when I drive her wild!

Okay, so I'm silly today, shoot me.

So anyways, I have the same problem I've seen a couple of you mention here: we pretty much buy what we want all year. Sooo... I never know what to get my hubby. Would you fine fellas be kind enough to throw some ideas my way? In the interest of not jacking the thread you can send them via pm, if you want. Bear in mind he pretty much has all the stuff guys want... car, bike, tv, surround sound, home stereo, xbox360/ps3/wii, 4 bazillion games to go with them, nice watch, favorite sports team memorabilia, etc. etc. You see where my problem lies? He's not really into clothes or jewelry, so that won't work. Mods for his car are also off the table.. he drives a Kia Amanti (great for his long commutes). In a nutshell... ! Since I'm asking you all for help I feel inclined to offer some. Here's a few ideas:

A day (or more) at the spa (or just a massage package) - Even no-fuss women like to be pampered once in a while.

Roomba - I have 2 and I LOVE em. Anything that makes housework easier, I'm all for it.

Even better- maid service for a month. This will free her up from the everyday chores so she'll have time to tackle the closets, etc. Or she just doesn't have to do the housework for a month haha.

Shoes (or purses)- can't go wrong there. Not sure which ones to get? 2 words: gift card. While it may seem impersonal, I would much rather be able to pick out my own than have my hubby bring me a pair of lime green "f" me pumps and HAVE to wear them to show my appreciation. lol

If you're looking for a large gift - get her a hot tub... BUT... it should come with either a) a promise to do the weekly maintenance or b) a pool boy. Other wise you're just creating more work for her.

Last, but definitely not least.. you could get her a Camaro. My hubby's gotten a helluva return on that investment.
