She passed away in October of 2006. I traded it in September 2007 for a 2008 model. and right now have 17,000 miles on it..
I am really sorry to hear about the loss of your wife...It sounds like you were able to share some special times in the Sky with her before she passed

That works too! Anything that can mold into the crevices maximizes space! Wow, I wish I could have put that many miles on mine, but our weather makes it tough--We are in the process of getting a foot of snow as I type! I was able to take in back and forth to Toronto (me, a bulldog, and our stuff), and a few short trips with a friend--Hopefully in the spring I will be able to work up to the mileage you have! I just got mine in August..a surprise bday gift! I have wanted once since they were introduced, and I think it was a way for my husband to order a Camaro to his choices without input from me..He really got nervous when I found this site, researched, and knew as much as him No complaints from me....I won't make him wait for the Camaro vert now and we're both happy!
BTW, I like your Sky and the color combination...I debated long and hard between the two before I chose the Solstice, but they are both terrific cars (hence, the difficult decision..)

That is one reason I bought the Sky, and one thing I was thinking if GM does close Saturn that Chevy get the Sky and change the name to one of these...
StingRay
MantaRay
Maco Shark

The reason that they have both the Sky and Solstice is because of the reasons people on here have been giving why they like one over the other, some people like the sharp lines of the Sky and some like the rounded curves of the Solstice... Even though they are the same cars under the skin, it's the styling that brings even more people in to buy. How many Sky buyers would have bought a Solstice if the Sky didn't exist, and vice versa?

I don't like either..... I'm 6' tall, and the first thing I did after getting in one was to move the seat back.....it was already all the way back.

to me the way it breaks down, the Solstice is feminine and the Sky is masculine.

Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

It is close, if we're comparing convertibles, the Sky wins. But I voted Solstice because I love that they're coming out with the Targa coupe. Just wish they did the same for the Sky.

I like the Solstice, it looks like a retro roadster, a 53 Vette, Porsche roadster type IMO. The Solstice looks cleaner with less chrome on it.

My wife likes the Sky.

The Solstice looks better in coupe guise, I can't wait to see those in 2009, assuming they're made. Aesthetically, though, the Sky is more refined.

Solstice without a doubt for me...the Sky is just too busy while the Solstice is nice and smooth looking! Cool retro look to me and I like it!!

I saw in a Pontiac magazine where someone dropped an LS3 into a Solstice. Got 400 hp out of it.

But anyway, I didn't really like ANY Saturn cars until I saw a Sky in person. I even like it better than the Solstice, and I'm more of a Pontiac guy.
