Someone saying they wouldn't disgrace their camaro with an automatic... how stupid a comment is that?

Lookie here, I have a car with a manual transmission
Do I get to join your "manly" club? Hey it also doesn't have power steering. Does that make me extra manly?
Really the whole "I'm superior if I drive a manual" thing has really gotten old and could use a rest. I have a sense of humor but don't think it's too funny to single out about half of the members of this board because THEY didn't buy what you like.
wow who said anything about impressing anyone if you didn't get it the op was a JOKE and should be taken with a grain of salt

Now that above argument is just as stupid as someone thinking they are more manley because they drive a stick. LOL.

Ill stick to my age old saying from sources unknown.

Stick shifts impress high school girls.
Automatics win races.
it was a... JOKE now stop attacking the op for it he didn't say that automatic's were for sissies and that everything should be manual (even though i think that every car should be manual because then people might actually focus on what they're doing while there driving or it would just make it worse lol)

Edit: btw i don't hate anyone on this site and i don't hate the camaro i wish i had one myself cause camaro aftermarket is MUCH greater then the ss/tc we've had to do a lot of our own custom work to make the car fast and to be honost i would take a M6 2SS/RS camaro :p so don't get bored and attack fellow members just cause you're bored waiting for a vendor to make another part

Reasons "real" men drive standard/

Afraid of technology?
Compensating for manhood?
Very worried about how cool they'll look?

j/k drive whatever floats your boat.

PS:

Don't forget to disconnect your A/C, power steering, power ABS brakes, electronic controlled engine/transmission/etc. , switch to an AM tube radio, pull the fuel injection and go Quadrajet, rip out the electronic ignition and go back to points/condenser.....etcetera, ad nauseum, ad infinitum...

your a champion

Since I bought the camaro not as a daily driver and more for fun I get more of an enjoyable experience with a manual, plus you can do some more interesting things with them even though electronics are getting pretty good at replicating the experience.

Just because some of you are too lazy to include a clutch in your driving experience doesn't mean you should expect the same responses from people.

But anyways who cares, Auto's are good too. That's what the New Yorker is for.
