I like the looks of the Dodge a lot;unfortunately FIAT never invested any money in a much needed interior upgrade as they did to other chrysler products...
Thanks and enjoy your new cage !

I am not sure where us Camaro guys get off on bashing the Challenger's interior, have any of you taken a look at how bad and cheap the Camaro's is other than the seats? That being said I prefer the Challenger's interior, I think the layout is better, better electronics, more comfortable seating, proper head room, and just not a cramped feeling. My Camaro averaged 15-17 mpg, it was about the same for the SRT8.

This!

The Camaro interior plastics are made out of butter.

What gets me with the Challenger though is that the car is so good looking on the outside and the inside is a total letdown.Cheap plasticy and boring like the old Charger...
If it looked better and was styled in the same theme as the outside almost as good looking as the origional,I would buy a 392 not 396 Challenger SRT...
Actually is certainly NOT cheap and plasticky, the materials are actually VERY good especially on the 11 and up models and the design itself is loosely based on the origionally 70 Challenger interior.

While the Charger got a much nicer looking interior since FIAT took over the Challenger is still waiting for the upgrade...(which will probably never come since the Cuda is already around the corner)
How? Everything in the interiors sans radio and climate controls are different. Look it up, the styling is based on the 70 Challenger not the Charger. Also, FYI, the Charger actually got an interior update in 08 that also gave it decent interiors. the materials were also upgraded on the 11 Challenger and are better than the Fantastic hard plastic covering most of the inside of the Camaro. just facts sir.

I have to wonder if the people who slam the challenger interior actually been inside one. Let me refresh some people's memory. I think dodge got it spot on. Its not busy its the right interior for this car. The only small change i would like to see them make is update the electronics like the one in the charger but that's it.

And if you think that the interior of the challenger is cheap then why do you think Chrysler uses the same suppliers as Ferrari? And also, why does Ferrari borrow the touch screen radio to put into the Ferrari California and FF? Trust me, when you have Fiat as the sole steak holder every thing trickles down and up. There is just no comparison when you talk interior quality between the Challenger and Camaro.

Personally i love the Camaro,Mustang,Challenger and the Charger for different reasons with my favourite being the ZL1 Camaro They all serve a purpose in the market which is great and have a totally different feel when you drive them. I envy the op who has been lucky enough to own 3 of them which must have been a lot of fun. As for interiors i posted this before but here is the future of SRT interiors. The days of ugly and bad materials are long gone for dodge.

As good as the Challenger looks on the outside as boring it looks on the inside. The new steering wheel I like though...
And believe me if the new Viper gets seats and leather from the same supplier as Ferrari there is nothing Ferrari in the old Challenger interior.
Question remains why the Charger got a new better looking interior but the Challenger kept the old one from the dreadful Daimlerchrysler days...

With the exception of some minor placements of things and guage layout the overall shape and design of the new Challenger is VERY similar to the 70s. As for looks you are welcome to your opinion. I would suggest sitting in one and driving it though and you would actually appreciate it. Wuality of materials is a fact you cannot dispute though. the Camaro is full of cheap feeling and looking plastic while the Challenger has much higher quality soft touch materials, that cannot be disputed.

Lol...sadly thats probably 100% accurate. Im on here more than i am SVTPP. I would check other tuners instead of the Pro-cal that comes with the power pack though. No real power increase for the money. Picks up some torque in the low end and helps the piss poor throttle response.

One day I will own one of the other big 3 too

I really wanted to keep my warranty with no questions asked, so I did the FRPP tuning kit, along with the 500 mufflers. IMO the car gained great power below 3000 rpms, and seems to pull smoother on up to 7000-rpms. The 500-mufflers sound great. I since added SVE 19' drifts with Nitto 275s all around and they seem to have really improved the bad hop condition I had with the Pirellis. I'll be heading to the strip soon to get some firm numbers on how this combination performs.
