does the pre have turn by turn nav? I use my instinct's maybe twice a week, time is money when delivering pizza's. I deliver on an Island so that wouldn't be a big loss, but it's nice to have.

YES. ...or so the people at Sprint said. I've been playing w/ so many functions of the phone since yesterday. Dude...this phone is now the BEST EVER. Your email updates CONSTANTLY>...it really is incredible.

This phone really is the bomb....

Oh...and the first person came in w/a broken pre today to the sprint store. This guy tried to see how many applications he could have open at once....45 open windows and it locked up...

Man....just don't exceed 45 and you'll be fine!!! HA!

You have your email set to IMAP and the phone set to "As Items Arrive", right? I get emails on my phone faster now than I do on my computer! And not pinging the server constantly saves a lot of battery life.

Being able to listen to Pandora while switching between an email and google maps really shows how far ahead the Pre is over the iPhone.

Anybody plug their Pre into their Camaro's USB port? I am wondering how well it integrates. Probably just shows up as a USB drive.

Hey Croathlete, I have been using the Palm Pre since it came out on day one and love it. I pick up my Camaro tomorrow morning.
I am looking forward to seeing if I can audio stream using blue tooth. The Palm Pre has the A2DP Blue Tooth Profile so it should work. Have you had any success?

You're looking at the wrong "Everything" plans, my friend. You need to look at the Everything Referral plans. :-D.

The ERP Data plan would be $60 a month for 500 minutes with all of the same bells and whistles as the Everything Data plan. Shoot me a PM if you need help getting it, but it's really not hard to do. It's "not capable" of supporting a discount, but I know plenty of people that have gotten it done, the key to that is to either have it already applied on your account, as you do, because in most cases you won't lose it, or to contact the SPECIFIC department of account modifications. Do NOT speak to general CS or ANY department unless they are from that EXACT department. There are several other departments such as "Account Mangement".

Edit: And the Pre has GPS navigation, from TeleNav. Same people that do the GPS navigation on pretty much every phone under the sun.

Oh, and if you join the Alliant credit union, you can get 25% off your monthly bill.

One more thing, it supports IMAP which means no more pinging your email every 5, 10, 15 min and wasting your battery, now email shows up instantly.
I can listen to radio in Safari (there's a canadian company offering their radio stations on a website), and when I exit it, it keeps playing. Not sure if pandora will do that...
