Heh....interesting to read some of this.

...lots of notions of entitlement...lots of expressions of 'unfair' treatment....lots of people settling for what they're given....and nobody, including myself, with any intimate knowledge of what goes on during the process and/or why.

Oh well. Like I said, I didnt mean to stir up the hornets nest. I just wanted to show the futility in some of the complaints. There are legit complaints and there is whining. But we all have the right to our opinions.

Correct, and incorrect at the same time. The whole pre-order process may be not be new to GM, but its new to the vast majority of members here. But there are 2 significant differences between the Camaro and any other car from GM: none have been so eagerly anticipated by such a devoted group of people, and none have had so much info out so early as they the Camaro. If the specs were released in the late fall and they started taking orders in January, I bet the number of complaints would go down dramatically.

I'm a manager at a grocery store.I'm not trying to stir things up either. I'm just saying that there's an alternative. If you want to complain ,go ahead. I'm not saying it's entirely bad. Like someone has already said, sometimes complaints are constructive. I'm just saying not to get too worked up about it, That's all.
