No, I love every angle of that car now. They even fixed the back end in my opinion. It looks like it wants to eat you. Have to give it to ford in the looks department.

Moderators, I have a question:

I posted an earlier reply "LOL at what Adam says at the end of the Lotus interview" - and it got deleted? Why? A PM reply is good enough if it is a sensitive matter.

thanks!

I didn't do it, but I'm assuming it was rule #13

If there was ever a car that looked like a catfish gasping for oxygen, it's the GT500...the rear isn't bad, but this is one fish out of water!!!!!

I believe the Gt500 will handily beat the ZL1 traction or no traction, on the drag or in a track.

I'll believe it when I can see it but I have to think that FORD has done it .. they know it was an issue and it would be in their best interest to fix it! ....

Looking at the 0-60 number and 1/4 for the ZL1, it has traction issue as well. How else can you explain the 12 to 12.1 1/2 for the ZL1 if it's not traction issue. I guess the magnetic suspension can't fix that either.

2w drive production cars with over 500hp will have traction issues. Launch control helps but not 100%. GT500 has not had the help of launch control and the easiest/cheapest cure for us is to swap the stock rear tires for some grippier ones. That alone transforms it to another level.

Try this with your SS with measly 426hp and stock tires, disable the trac/stability nannies complely off and launch the car hard...traction issue, wheel hop, no? If the 2013 GT500 indeed comes with launch control, watch the F out.

The 2012 Boss and GT500's have both posted 0-60 times in 4.0-4.1 in previous magazine tests. I was expecting sub 4's considering all the advanced technology and increased hp over the Mustangs. Maybe one of the mags can get it in the 3's.

How wide of tires can be fit on the back of the GT500?
