If you have to have actual class time, then it's more of a hybrid class. I took one and hated it. An all online class, you only meet once maybe twice. Workload is suppose to be the same as any other class. So....

I'm less than a year from graduation, and I still try to get as many online classes as I can.

Got my associates in a classroom setting, then tried online classes for my bachelors. Got five classes left until I graduate. Columbia southern university ftw.

Yes I'd be all for what you described, just tell Maricopa County that.

the online college classes I took back in '07 we only had to take the tests and do a few assignments. it was really easy and we never had to go to class or meet. I never met my professor or any of the other students.

Received my associates in fire science from CSU. The essays can be a pain but over all not bad for online.

I know Im a child of that gen, I learned early that I didn't have to do anything I didn't want and they still moved you forward. But I was just a kid, I didn't know any better, but the teachers n schools sure did.
Well...unfortunatly a teacher can't hold you back because you're stupid. Honestly even as a kid I understood if I fudge my education when I'm young its gonna kick my ass later on. Plus I had parents that gave a damn and teachers who worked with me. So don't blame anyone but yourself.

I'm half way through my Bachelor's degree and all my classes are online. I don't have time with work and my daily commute to go sit in a class for 3 hours a night or whatever.

I do most of my "attendance" stuff at work and my projects on weekends. I've never had any issues. I like it better.

What's great about online classes is working at your own pace. I had 5 days to complete all the assignments...even the essays...the long essays....and the webcam/emailing/IM-ing the proff. Not everyone can do it though, you need accountability. For example while at disneyworld I was still attending class. Lol
