So the husband is in a coma and the wife just runs off with his partner?
I guess they had to save some drama for later... If that was my wife in the hospital in the coma I would have fought my way in and carried her out.

Just watched the second episode and really liked it! The comic book series is awesome as well. Been reading it since it came out. TV show is sticking pretty close to it as well.

I think the idea is that the world went to shit while he was in a coma and they assumed he was eaten/etc considering the military was staged at the hospital and they were overrun.. or appeared to be overrun.

Not that it makes it OK, but in the opening scene of the pilot, they setup the fact that his marriage wasn't going so great...in the conversation during the GTO chase scene.
Someone on the production scene definitely likes muscle cars...GTO and a Challenger in the first 2 episodes....so where's the Camaro's?

OK what did I miss as nothing make sense.
Dude is left cuffed to a pipe on the roof, and the only way down is chained shut form the inside. He gets to a hack saw n cuts off his hand then goes where??? Only way down, the door was still chained shut from the inside, no way he climbed down the side with only 1 hand. plot hole the size of a battleship???? |
