But if you can ask it to map the human mind ....then emulate it....It will be able to carry out the calculations (emulations?) and "function"....wait....head hurts again.

The cpu already emulates the human mind. The problem is that the human mind is capable of imagination where as a computer (so far) is only capable of working within its design parameters. The brain is capable of thinking beyond possibilities and into the realm of imagination, thats what makes us so dangerous, the fact that we "believe" something is possible even though logically its not, that belief in turn makes it possible.

A quantum computer could be used to model the brain...then every possible combination of thought could be modeled in a fraction of a second...that would take a regular human brain several lives to even approach.....
