Any suggestions for that feeling as I leave work to avoid sleepiness on the way home. Not a coffee drinker and dont want caffeine before I get home to go to bed. Doing another 12 hr shift tonight.

Sorry for your loss Jan. I lost my dad 6 weeks ago. It gets easier as the days pass.

So sorry 70rsz28. Hope he beats the odds & recovers well.

We had a nice Mexican supper at a new restaurant in Clarksville with my in-laws, Mike & I & both my kids last evening. I have my daughter staying with me one more day before she has to head home. We decided to let her bunny stay here until after Christmas so she does not have to make the long drive between Tennessee & Florida 2 extra times. Here are a few pics of Ruby & the baby bunny (no name until gender is clear; it is hard to tell with baby bunnies) & a few from dad's funeral.

Sorry for your loses too guys. My daughter headed home this morning. She will be back in a week for Christmas. I managed to get the tree up & the mantle decorated yesterday. I still need to get the Christmas tablecloth on & get out the candles & stuff that is stored in the house (as opposed to the shed). I need to get finished with decorating, get some crafts done & do some grocery shopping to get ready for some cooking. Have a good Sunday crew.

Good morning. It is rainy & windy here. Really glad I don't have to drive to Nashville. There are already several bad wrecks. I have to kick butt this week & see as many kids as I can as well as trying to schedule some home visits while the kids are out of school. Sure was hard to get up this morning. HAGD everyone.

Might anyone have suggestions for a Christmas present(s) for my wife? Once again, she is claiming she wants absolutely nothing. One year, my daughter and I picked out some jewelry for her, and she returned it! Jewelry is not a home run with her, although she owns quite a bit.

All of our friends are asking my what she wants, and I have no answer or them, other than "gift certificates".

This drives me nuts!

Considering where you live, how about a gift cert for the Spa at the Scottsdale Princess?
We used to live in Surprise, and one of the wife's friends would fly down to visit and they'd go there for the day. I didn't understand, but they thought it was great!

That's it get her a 2 day weekend away from you. Never know it might work. I know she probably loves you but this just might help you out. Know what I mean?

Thanks for the ideas everyone. Only one that won't work is the weekend with just the two of us. My son has to tag along.

Good morning. It is back to more wintery feeling temps here but rain has stopped. It is still above average temp but chilly considering we have been having Spring-like temps. When winter really hits it is going to be a shock to the system. I had a very busy day yesterday, then went to belly dance class and my dance-exercise class. I could really tell it has been a while since I exercised. It did not help that I seem to be getting a chest cold, maybe even getting close to bronchitis. I had to use my inhaler for the first time in maybe a couple of years. Then I was up until 11:00 doing my documentation. I am tired & sore this morning. HAGD all.
