Good morning I think the pain in my leg is my sciatic nerve acting up. I have been spending too much time on my butt in bed or on the couch. I will toss on some sweat pants today and bundle up to go for a walk around the neighborhood today. Its cold here in the 20's but at least its sunny so a walk is doable.

My wife is going to be gone till about 9pm today and tomorrow. There was an incident where a worker in a local restaurant tested positive for Hepatitis A so my wife has to run a public vaccination clinic for the people that ate in the restaurant to keep any outbreak to a minimum. She expects to have 2-4 thousand people at the clinic over the next two days. I feel terrible for her as she is very tired from taking care of me and spent a lot of the weekend working getting the clinic up and ready for this morning. I am going to try to do as much as possible to not bother her with taking care of me so she can take care of herself.

Since your wife is busy, I will be the worrier.........I know lots about blood clots, so keep an eye on that leg and if it gets hot or tender. I work for public health too, but luckily don't have to do public vaccination clinics, unless it becomes a serious outbreak. Behave while she's busy.

It was a sort of busy day after all. Just finished my notes. I did get to start at the Y after work. Hubby & I noticed they already pulled $ out of my check so I called the Y & they said I was good to go. I was a bit late for class but made it for most of it. I came home & made me some snack bars to take to lunch but I think I did something wrong as they don't seem to be getting hard. My mother used to say when stuff like that happened "I guess we will just have to eat it with a spoon" so.....................

Good night crew.

Gary -- I think the gloss black stripes will look much better than the matte!! The only thing I paint flat are my ceilings. Black is the best color to put on the yellow. Yellow packaging with black lettering always catches my eye. Just my opinion.

Rick -- been waiting to see your friends chevelle picture.

Good morning. I'm up a little early to be sure to (do my best) to be at work on time. A new employee is supposed to be shadowing me today. Don't want to give a bad example to a young staff person. But I have no control over the traffic. Have a good day everyone.

I did not know you worked in Public Health Diane. I am watching that leg closely and I don't have any other symptoms of a blood clot like swelling, redness, or tenderness so I am pretty sure its ok. They don't have many public vaccination clinics here but when they do my wife is usually the clinic manager. She has the most experience from a management standpoint as she runs the TB and STD programs for the county and the educational background as an RN/BSN/MPH. Its a lot of work but promoting public health is a passion for her.

I'm still way behind, and have something to do tonight.

Anyway, here is a link to my Pavilions Cruise album.

And here is my Sands Chevy album.

I arrived late so I was parked in the aisle. They parked me under a Palo Verde Tree, which was dropping little yellow flowers. It's easier to clean the top vs. the interior, so I left the top up.

Here is Tom's Chevelle at Sands. He won best Chevelle 1968 - 1972.

Rick --- that is a great big block chevelle !! The black top on that gold is very sharp. Has it been reconditioned or is it a survivor ??

Yep - In public health for 23 years.......dietitian. I love public health!

I'm looking forward to spring and car shows. Just passed by one this weekend up in North Carolina, so of course we had to stop and look. No 5th gen Camaros, but lots of late model Mustangs

Cool save!

It is a little chilly this morning after being up to 77 yesterday. Supposed to be another warm day today then getting cold again. I gotta get myself going. I have to drive to Oak Grove, KY today for a training. It's actually not too bad, not too far past Mike's parent's house. Have a good day everyone.
