zandron -- glar to here it is over and you are on the mend. One can never get any good rest at hospital.

rick -- make sure you get a picture of both of your cars and any other ones of that you find of interest.

I got the ZL1 out for the first time last week and got it out again today. I never get tired of how much power that car has between 4,000 and 6,000 RPM. Also took the 57 corvette out for a 20 minute exercise. Now off to the car shed to maybe get the last drywall sheets hung and start the mudding. Ya for me.

Hope everyone has a great and safe weekend.

John

61 here!

I just picked up my 2014 Camaro 2SS RS convertible. Traded my 2010 Miata and some cash. Just getting too hard to get in and out of the Miata. Then I found it isn't that much easier with the Camaro LOL. But boy can I fly in that Camaro! LOL.

Welcome to the "We found the fountain of youth" club luv_freedom.

It was a great day at the Fest planning meeting. The extreme experience was running at the NCM track and a drag race event at Beech Bend for added interest. I am beat though. Pics here:

I have collected a ton of stripe pics and there is also a thread in the cosmetics section with all the vinyl stripes available. I plan to get mine painted. I just don't like how you have to baby them & getting wax along the edges, etc. I just like paint better personally. But lots of folks like the vinyl as you can change them. Another option is doing them in plastidip that way you can just peel them off if you don't like them & can test out different choices before making a more permanent choice. Check out the stripes thread & if you have ideas that you don't find there let me know & I'll see if I have anything like that in my pics. Good luck deciding.

I did some house & yard work today. I also gave Ruby a good detailing inside & out. I'm tired but it feels good. My buttercups (I know they are really Daffodils) & Hyacinths look pretty & the hyacinths smell sooooooo good. Here are a few pics:

Well not as good as I once was but as good once as I ever was

Well I didn't think I was old, I'm 47 but I notice nowadays when talking to people most refer to me or answer with Sir. Anyway we have a 2014 ss camaro manual shift, dual mode exhaust. I just put a custom paint job on it. we also have a 67 l30m20 camaro with a 383 stroker on racing fuel that we drive on street occasionally. Love em both

stripes

I'm in the same boat as far as deciding to do vinyl or paint. I'm leaning towards paint but once it's on it's permanent so I better be sure lol. This is what I'm leaning towards in gloss black on my yellow ss instead of mate black.
What do ya think? This is the stripe I'm thinking of doing.

I really want to replace my vinyl stripes with painted ones some day. But i dont have that cash right now. I am feeling better each day but my left leg is hurting me in my rear calf muscle today. One of the drawbacks of having a nurse for a spouse is they tend to jump to the most serious condition first. I figured I slept odd and pulled a muscle. She went right for blood clot in my leg that could dislodge and cause serious problems. I don't have any other symptoms of a clot but she made me worry about it now anyway. However I know she is just worried about me and means well. I also had her take a picture of the incision on my head today so i could see what it looks like. Its pretty long but it is healing well.

Hold on to positive thoughts and keep healing well but don't hesitate to go get a doctor to check you our it needed.

Thanks Jan I will call the Dr if it gets worse but I think I will be fine. I feel so much better since I stopped taking the Narcotics yesterday. Now I just need to take things slowly which is not easy for me to do when I get bored.
