I spent 2 1/2 hours today taking the felt blanket off my engine. It was a PITA but I am glad I stuck with it & finally got it done. It looks so much better.
Here is a link to my build thread & pics of the before, during & after. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=287652&page=8 Sleep well crew.

My CAI painting adventure is over for now. I was able to sand out most of the damage and reclear it. I put it back on the Camaro and I will leave it be till the summer and decide if I want to keep it the way it is or change it up. I also finished my Hex Vents and reinstalled them (those came out fantastic). You can look at the pictures in my build thread if you want to see how it camre out.

The CAI did turn out looking nice.
Good morning crew. I stayed home today sick. Yesterday I was miserable all day. My right eye & nostril were running like a water faucet and by the end of the day my eye was swollen & red and I was tired & achy. I thought I had pink eye or maybe even getting the flu. I felt just awful all over. I did everything I knew to do last evening; hot epsen salt soaked cloth on the eye, triple antibiotic ointment all over the eyelid, then cold cloth and I went to bed early. I now think I may have gotten some insulation in my eye from removing the felt blanlet. I was careful not to touch my face & wore rubber gloves once I realized that inside the felt (which I had to cut into pieces to remove) there was fiberglass, but it was windy. I had on my glasses but not goggles which I should have done. My eye is still reddened today but it is no longer watering or hurting. After reading on Web MD I'm sure it is not bacterial pink eye so nothing a doctor would do for me anyway. I am glad to have the day off as I would have only have had 4 clients today anyway. No way I could have put on make-up and would not have wanted to go in with this red/swollen eye. I managed to get all the clients rescheduled. Now...................what to do with the rest of my day?????????????? I'm sure I'll come up with something. Have a good Monday crew.

Good evening crew. Well, I gave myself another long weekend. My eye is still a little reddened & inflamed/sore but it doesn't hurt unless I touch it, my eye & nose have not been watering all day & I generally feel better. So I guess it is back to work tomorrow. I hope make-up does not irritate it because I don't even go to the mailbox without my make-up. I got a couple of things done around the house but mostly just hung out, resting & surfing the web. Hopefully Monday was good to everyone.

Today was my day to be "assaulted" by our quality assurance team. Puts me in such a crappy mood making it difficult to concentrate.
