Right. But there are not $8K worth of options that you can put on a GT500, so I'm not sure how you arrived at a $55K pricetag for the one you built. I can see ~$51K if you added every option to a 2010, but not $55K.

you seem to forget the camaro outsold the mustang by a long shot.......... and that both are high production cars, making the camaro an ass hole as well.

Indeed if you are wanting a car that is not going to be common, then you need to stay away from both. Of course if you are buying a car for yourself because it's fun to drive and you like, by al means buy you want regardless of how many are on the road.

Mustangs are not even close to being as nice as the Camaro any way you slice. Speed, looks and interior all go to the Camaro. After test driving the GT it was an easy decision to get the Camaro. The easiest way to sell a Camaro is to park a Mustang right next to it.
