Must be nice.

What must be nice? I have a scholarship, which I almost lost so I'm going for summer classes which I'm paying for all by myself.

The real world gives you far more experience than a classroom ever will ...

Anyway, the way I see it getting things done is all about problem solving. Engineers are fundamentally problem solvers. Ergo, if there is a job that involves problem solving, an engineer is qualified by default.

I mean, 40 K is SO MUCH money for me, but for them it really is nothing, yet they act like it is.
Help is one thing ... paying for all of it is another

Thanks man. And yeah, I did. He stopped by to chat for a bit and we talked a bit of shop about the '12 'Maro. Gonna say mum on what I heard since none of it was really set in stone but we had an indepth about why ABM/Synergy Green went limited.

Lets just say it was "Let the Joneses have that color so I can look at it from afar, I'll drive Vic Red instead.."

Same reason why we won't see bright colors in large numbers on production cars either, but Fen knows this already and could speak with more GM Bible thumping authority than I could.

Also got to plant my butt in his CTF (again.. like I did with Thor back in '08). Gotta say the upgrades to the dash do work nicely and that corp. steering wheel? I like it.. yeah, I just said that.

Also ran into a Firebreather stunt car at another show later that evening so my 5th gen fix was complete by the end of the day. And that '98 Gold SS is a non hurst hard top. 1 of 23 built. Dave's got a '96 SS and a '95 Comp T/A to go with it too..

you have a better appreciation of things when you pay for stuff yourself. Also, if you use your own money, you're more motivated to get a passing grade, rather then having your school paid for, and not caring because you know your parents would pay for it again.

Fail. Was at the bus stop with a cute girl, talked a little bit. Got on the same bus, talked some more so right before my stop I wrote my number on a piece of paper and while getting off gave it to her and said "Call me sometime" and she said "My husband wouldn't like that" with a smile and showed me her ring. I swear she was no older than 23-24

How's that a win? It would've been a win if she didn't care about her husband
