Out the ass. I still have to pay for a lot of stuff which kinda annoys me. Mom owns Turkey's largest rug company along with her 3 sisters and grandma, and she also has her own hotel in southern Turkey. Dad still has a lot of GE stock left, he was the general manager for the Europe-Asian engineering division for a while. Now him and his buddy from college own a company that is energy focused, they make biodiesel and sell it to Russia, energy saving heating/cooling systems but the main part of the company is making LNG tanks for the trailers of semi's. One of the biggest LNG tank producers in Europe. And I still pay for stuff

You'll feel better about things if you buy them with your own money.

I'm paying my parents back for college once I get a decent paying job.

I'm not paying them back nothing, I feel like they could EASILY afford even more stuff for me (which I'm not asking for), but I don't get why I'm paying for summer quarter

What do you need the MBA for? Seriously ... you can be a better manager using common sense than paying a ton of money & killing a few more years at university.

Even if my parents told me not to worry about it, I'd still cut them a cheque for it. Getting a $40,000 gift like that (plus cost of living) just wouldn't sit well with me.

The more experience the better, even though I'm pretty sure I'm gonna run one of the companies into the ground. Plus, they want me to get an MBA, they don't just wanna hand over these huge companies to me when I'm 25 years old.

If I have the financial means when my kid goes to college, I won't expect him/her to repay me cause I'm their dad. My parents don't want me to pay them for it, which would be kind of odd anyway. I've payed some stuff back to them, but the way I see it college is something your parents try to help you pay for, if they can. I mean, 40 K is SO MUCH money for me, but for them it really is nothing, yet they act like it is.
