Back to Starcraft... not wanting to spoil anything, so I just got to that one level where the one thing about the prophecy was revealed... If we get to see that one thingy in this game ....

I too enjoyed the heros in WC3, except the blademaster...dirty bastard always came for my wisp. As for Blizzard dumbing down their games...it is a fact, they even stated they are trying to draw attention to the casual gamer, and that is when I quit WoW and started playing all the cutom games created by users in WC3. Can't wait to try out SC2, the campaign alone is reason enough to get it.

This is the one I really want. Seriously, its like WoW came out and blizzard stopped making good games. 10 years for a starcraft sequel? Already over 9 since Diablo 2 LOD came out.

More like they when they got merged with Activision they started to become the big pile of fail that they currently are. WoW original was a really good game, then they ruined it more and more with each expansion they brought out.

I remember playing WoW beta and it being hard (in a sense I guess) to get good gear and a decent level. I played WoW like 2 summers ago for 3 months because I was by myself in an apartment an hour from friends that were playing the game, and I was like level 40 with pretty good gear in the time it took me to get level 20 with decent gear. Its even worse from what I heard in that it doesn't take "skill" to play the game.

But yes waiting 9-10 years for a sequel is quite long. I think though the sc2 one was delayed because of that fail attempt at a console game called "Starcraft Ghost". Diablo, well I have no idea why they delayed that other then maybe because they were working on WoW. If WoW didn't come out then I bet Diablo 3 would have already been out.

I played WoW in beta and hated it.

My friends who play all told me if was better after all the updates (this would have been about 18 months back) so I purchased a month and reactivated my account. It still sucked.

Like I said, I'm really excited for Diablo III. They better not jack it up.

Pay day for me too (I only get paid once a month), and profit sharing pay day too. TWO CHECKS FOR ME, but I'll probably pick up SC2 sunday since today and tomorrow I'm busy.

Starcraft 2 is suprisingly fun, even if it is an HD version of the original. The challenges and story are all pretty fun. Just digging into multiplayer now.

I've played WoW since release (horrible I know) and have been big into raiding since it was implimented. The game is getting worse and worse each patch/expansion, and have been considering quitting for a few weeks.

Diablo 3 hopefully will be as addictive and amazing as 2 was.

I suck at the multiplayer. But I love the single player. I bought it because I had to find out how things are gonna end.

Yeah, I know WC3 was horrid when it came to MP, get put up against players who were actually rank 20+ but lost to many so they just made a new account to roll new players with.

Hopefully the new matchmaking system will have solved those issues, but I'm going to complete the campaign before I start into the multi player

since the game can only be linked to 1 bnet account i think we....not so good.... people are ok, unless the good people want to go out and buy the game again...

i cant wait till i get home to my desktop because this game looks just awful on my 2 year old macbook. it feels like im playing the original, i have 2d mode on, no lighting effects and every thing turned to the lowest setting... and the game still barely runs at a bearable FPS.

i also cant wait till diablo III, current rumors has it out around this time next year or fall 2011

The reason people had to smurf was because blizzard messed up the matchmaking. The original was the best where level meant something then they catered to the average player and made it possible for anyone to get it. Then eventually youd get to a high level and the search time increased. It would take hours to find a game so it forced the good players to smurf on other accounts. They only did it to find games.
