Now that it's election day & people are still voting, I don't believe news networks should be allowed to 'predict' who will win a state's electoral votes until after all the votes have been counted. A prediction based on 12% of precincts reported is likely to cause someone to not feel like their vote would count if their 'favorite' isn't ahead, so therefore they give up and will not vote. This could not be farther than the truth. If your polls are still open & you have not voted yet, go do it now! An early prediction is just that: the news station's best guess. Think of it; how accurate are they at guessing the weather? (at least here in the South) Your vote could mean the difference in who wins the electoral votes for your state. To all who already voted, thank you.
