That sixteen was not only the bomb but is where Cadillac should have went with guns a blazin'. Do me a huge favor and thank everyone who worked on that from the bottom of my heart. That car was what would have put Cadillac back on the map again. Damn shame....

I think the PT was kind of cool when it came out. Been around way too long. I like the HHR a lot. It's replacement, the Orlando just looks like a run of the mill minivan. The CTS, i mean, it's a gorgeous car imo. i'm not sold on the coupe, but the sedan is great.

The people who are usually assigned to those positions usually are very disconnected to design and have more of a marketing / buisness make. Having someone in that position based from design really would have allowed more decisions that would have helped the overall design and pushed what the image of cadillac should be in the form of its cars, and brand image.....it takes someone with design knowledge to understand sometimes building the right car wont look great in the books, (examples, audi a8, bmw 7 series, these cars do not generate much profit, however they escalate the brand) but you need certain cars to be successful in the long run..if you have someone up top making the decisions based on only immediate profitability..you wont get those decisions that need to happen
I sat in meetings with Bryan and while it raised a lot of eyebrows when he was made Gen Mgr -- I felt that it was appropriate to move him into the position - as he made a lot of people look at what Cadillac SHOULD be and how it should be represented.............

He would give a decision -- (and this is important) and then the rationale behind his decision -- that doesn't happen often with others...

So I agree with most of what is said in the above post.

I for one thankful for the PT. It got me where I'm at today www.fearone.com with GM SEMA partner program, plus when I met Bryan Nesbitt at SEMA I was honored he knew about me and my cars. Glad Bryan still with GM as I have always consider him a very talented and gifted desinger.
