It depends what you get on the 2ss. I have seen them go for 40k+. I mean, if you want to get into, I will just go buy a smart car, and get a gixxer engine on it, and then bye bye haha.

Ok, then factor in the cost of the basic upgrades you will need to do before you get the supercharger, the installation price, and then might as well go after a tune, because you wouldn't be able to afford a supercharger with installation afterwards lol. It still wouldn't hit the 540hp mark like the gt500.

It's unbelievable how much shops charge to install things. I'd personally do it myself, but most are not as mechanically knowledgeable.

I am not saying I am going to do all this lol I am just saying that the GT500 isn't too much ahead of the SS

Sorry everyone back on topic lol

Don't listen to those reviews. They are often biased, and have crappy drivers. I know others who can really drive cars, and they would easily pull out another .1-.2 out of a car. May not seem like a lot, but it is.

Yeah I love comparing cars that cost $15,000 more dollars too. Hey you know that the Z06 is so much better than the GT500?!

BTW, the Genesis performs a little better than the V6.

The genesis was supposed to be a muscle car contender..and it failed miserably.
The only way to get power out of that car will be through modding the 2.0t. Think of it as a heavier, slower, rwd gti, without a sizeable aftermarket (there are many people releasing parts for the 2.0t, but there is still a long way to go as compared to the gti aftermarket), along with a worse interior, no rear seat room, and overall less praticality, and you have a genesis coupe.

There is a sameness to the style of the Genesis. It may be more nimble because of its lighter weight but there is little for one to take notice of. Looks like a design from the mid 90's. Yawn.
