I stand humiliated and corrected. You're righ - dumb thing is that I actually looked at that yesterday when I was looking up the 402 big block which back in the day (1970) was also called a L99. I thought it was cool that my current hotrod has the old L99 and the hot rod i will buy (camaro) also has an L99. I get confused. I think when us older people see a very young person driving a brand new car our first thought is a "spoiled, over indulged, undeserving brat" and that could very well be true.
On the other hand it might be a "hard working, never gave their parents cause for concern or mistrust, excellent grades, school leaders, active in their community, the kind of child every parent hopes and prays they will become".
Now, with that being said, I do have a problem as I`m sure a lot of you do with a 16 year old with very little driving experience hauling around town in a SS Camaro. THAT is what I have issues with!
