One way or the other I don't really like it. Either its a lesser corvette dressed up like a ZR1 or its a ZR1 that they have reduced the rigidity (and therefore performance) of.

I would normally agree with you but there is a guy around my area that completely coverted a normal C6 coupe in a Z06 complete with brakes, body panels and LS7 then modded the crap out of it all because the Z06 didn't come with a targa. A guy with a couple year old C6 vert could want a ZR1 but not be able to find one around and may happen to really like verts.

Looks good... there is a few big name shops out there that does conversions like these . If you got 15k to burn, its no problem

I agree it look nice. but why would you want a car with that much power with out the rigidy to actually have fun with it.
