I had a 96' Monte Carlo. First car I learned to drive in, the car I drove when I got my license, and the car that I drove till it died. It went through 3 different transmissions in its life time. I had the car ever since it had like 130,000 miles on it. It died with around 192k on the odo. Within that time period we had to replace the tranny once. So before us the transmission was replaced one other time. It was a great car, very reliable, decent power for how old it was. Too bad the engine went out in that thing. A lot of memories with that car.

It's awesome but I doubt it was a flood survivor. Carmax won't buy it. There inspectors can tell. You have to have a sharp eye but there are ways to look for it. Even if cleaned up.
