I am so sorry for the terribly tragic loss of your beloved brother...you have my sympathies....

My heart aches for you all. I am proud to be part of a group that is always blessing each other's lives.
The thrill of owning a Camaro may have brought us to this forum, but the friendships developed will keep us for a lifetime.
My God keep us all in His hands.

In 2002 I lost my dad to lung cancer. Well since then my mom has gotten throat cancer that spread this year through her neck and brain. Over the past 6 year when she was at some of her lowest points she told me how she could smell my dads cologne (CK obsession) on 4 seperate occassions. She lives alone mind you. I didnt belive her either. Well she is bedridden now due to the cancer. As she is currently in her last few weeks alive she was telling me how she wants her wake and to give what property to who...I was sitting there in her room and I swear to god I started smelling Obsession. My mom couldnt smell anything though. She told me it was my dad saying hi.

So I kindly told my dad that he was freaking me out and I would appreciate it if he wouldnt do that anymore. By far the creepiest thing to ever experiance. But it makes my mom comfortable.

I guess until you experience such you don't get it. I say that if the "experience gives comfort...it is a good deal"

The passing one life to another that I now have met....makes a huge difference bridging the pain....but I did have to do some very bizarre mental gymnastics sitting across the table looking into the eyes of the man that had my son's heart beating in him.....but well worth it now 3 years out. Now when he visits with his family we BBQ and drink and have a great time. It was hard getting to this point...but the payoff is comfort in another life living on and another family still having their dad, there granddad and husband with a great prognosis of many years of good health and quality of life.

I am sorry for the loss of your Dad and for your Mom's prognosis...I hope the "smell of your Dad's cologne" can someday give you a measure of comfort as it does for your Mom...
I watched my mother suffer for 12 long, painful, horrible yrs with Stage4 ovarian cancer, and then a year after she died, my Dad had an emergency triple by-pass, and for the next 12 yrs until his painful death last yr from congestive heart failure, I watched him suffer too....
So, basically for almost 26 yrs of my life, I watched and worried about, and cared for sick, dying, and then dead, parents...and it took a terrible toll on my health and well-being...:(
That being said, I plan on loving and enjoying my life fully for the 1st time in like, forever, and driving this Camaro until they have to pry the keys from my "cold, dead, hands"...LOL...
It is time for ME now, and what better way to re-capture my life and youth than to own the BEST CAR AND HAPPIEST RIDE IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
