8k for a 2002 car with 108k miles sounds really unreasonable to me. I'd look on Ebay if I were you. But if you're willing to pay 8k for something that's already on its last leg, go for it.

Wink

actually it is six not eight grand and it has 105k not 108k like I posted earlier. as for the wing it is the factory one and the miles are a tad high but as I said it is a southern car from Georgia.

haha my brother bought pretty much the same car six months ago, except it's a convertible and has chrome 18 inch wheels.

and u know it was beat the whole 108k or assume so.

sure i may almost own a 250k mile v6 3rd gen but documented two owner car, both women that i only paid $795 for 12-13 years ago.
why at 230k it will still wear out tires like new.

Unhappy

I meant to post this earlier but did not have the time to do so. I went to the dealer and started it up it did not sound good (the motor did not run smooth) the ONLY plus side about this car was it has the Mach 1000 sound system with the 3 amps and 2 HUGE subs on both sides of the trunk compartment. if I had this car I would not even be able to fit my suitcase in it or put the seat down to carry any long bulky items like I can in the Monte. so based on the sound of the motor, the TINY trunk of the Mach 1000 sound system I will pass on it and keep looking for something better .

If it sounded it like it was having asthma attack that's how the 231 sounded from from the factory. The 231 wasn't a smooth engine either, I would know my sister-in-law had an 02. Those cars eat O2 sensors like nobody's business because Ford put them on the engine block and they melt over time. On the plus side its a 3,000 pound car so the fuel economy and performance even with 193 horses is pretty reasonable.

Well I hope you find something that better suits you than the one you started up! But seriously, I would ignore the whole rivalry between Ford and Chevy. Buy what you like!
