2nd gen world is the most open, 3rd - 4th gen full of punk kids. 5th gen is still a rich boys club where you pay to play

^ This.

Epic list goes (in order of availability) '89 L98 GTA, then an '81 301 Turbo, and a 73 455SD.

But everyone loves the '69 Camaro because the Bird felt like an afterthought.. and it really was due to the '64 Banshee getting axed.

I love my fourthgen, but my least favorite thing about it is the way it looks. I can admit that the styling is very 90's. Looks like it was carved out of a bar of soap.

That being said,

First, to put this in context...I do not hate ANY Camaro...but if I were to choose a generation that is my least favorite...it would be 4th Gens.

If I were to rate my favorite body styles it would be in this order (though occasionally, I feel the 5th gen swaps with 1st gen).

1) First Generation
2) Fifth Generation
3) Second Generation
4) Third Generation
5) Fourth Generation

I know a lot of people put 3rd gen as their least favorite, but I was always partial to that style. I think it retained more styling cues of the original Camaros than the 4th gen did.

Just an opinion among many though...Doesn't mean I hate the 4th gens though. If I were a car collector, I'd still get one to complete the Camaro Quintet!

TBH.. I wonder why GM never pushed that motor as a Corp motor. Sure the 305s were easier but a turbo 301 in anything would put everything up to the Buick Turbo Sixes to shame.

With some development, training, and a media campaign about it, they could have put the Mustang in the grave by the time the Probe came out. It's sad that such a good engine was wasted.

A 301 Turbo in an '82 T/A would have been a beast.

If I had my 2002 SS when I was still in high school I would be 8 feet under right now. Thank God my parents denied me a car like that and I had to buy it for myself after I left their house and the US Army matured me a bit. Please be careful.

Respect the car, respect its power, and you'll live to tell your kids about her.

I got my Trans Am when I was 16, 1 week before my license. I've had her for 5 years now, and I have never had anybody tell me it's ugly.

This got a laugh out of me. I'm sure a lot of people labled me as one of those back in the day, I'm not as rambunctious as I used to be. I wouldn't consider myself a rich boy, I have no money for mods anymore :(
