Camaro forums only for me, no interest at all in mustangs, and I laugh every time when I see the mustang guys here, and it is always the same ones who are on here talking trash.

Don't need to go to another brand's site. Got the best car.

If there's a sense of commonality and comradery in that most of us are all Camaro fans first and foremost...you shouldn't be surprised, or put off by it. Don't be so quick to accuse of narrow-mindedness and ignorance...when the same poor logic can be turned around and assert that "car guys" just can't make up their mind....it doesn't work that way. |

I am on almost every forum you can think of under one name or another. . . I just have an insatiable hunger for knowledge about every little beasty out there. I like to know, not only my competition, but what's working and what isn't. It starts out as an interest to purchase, but eventually it's just interest in new models, new modifications and more importantly what everyone is making out of their cars. That way I never make an uninformed decision in a purchase or a race, plus it's fun to see where each manufacturer is taking their performance oriented vehicles and be up to date on all the latest.
Biggest thing to keep in mind - you're on the internet. The internet is full of idiots and non-idiots that will disagree with you or agree with you just to pass the time. The positive side of having a bunch of mustang and non-camaro owners on this site? You better believe they[we] are the people correcting misinformation about the camaro on the other respective forums. Besides, it's because the Camaro is still new and was gone for 8 years. You should have seen all the GTO guys on the mustang forums back in 04-05. . . two of them ended up as moderators if that gives you an idea. |
