It may continue forever. Has anyone seen a maglev? In that case, magnets are used to create a frictionless surface. Force is used to propel the maglev at the start, but the magnets are used to move it until manually stopped using other forces. It fulfills Newton's basic laws while still lasting forever.

Magnets are the key to perpetual motion by some means or another. I don't think they can create perpetual acceleration, though.

It's surprising what's possible.

We know comparitively.....nothing....about magnetism. At least not near enough what we should.
