She is adorable! She should be an easy one to train... I had her in a crate, and she was yapping up a storm when I came down from my shower. Leashed her up, took her out, and she did her thing right away. 7 weeks old, and already barking to go out and go potty?? Wow. (it's been a long time since I used the phrase "good potty"...haha!!)

Happy Saturday everyone! I'm just gonna do some yardwork today and then a whole lotta homework. We've been talking about how to begin a novel in my novel writing class. I have an assignment to write a few paragraphs that could be the opening to a novel. This could be fun. Let's see I'll have a character called HotRodSally, another called LadyBugsMom, and then there's Skyman, and Mr Twisty. The list goes on and on!

Oh, and there's a college football game I want to watch.... I wonder what time that starts?

Personally, I avoid the State Fair on the weekends. We usually go during the week (Tuesday, I believe it is) when retired military get in for free and less crowded too. I will say that the fair has improved considerably over the last 10+ years we've lived here with new buildings, etc. It's to bad they tore down the raceway, but it was in pretty bad shape. Yeah, I miss the old fair stuff like the monorail, etc. Wont have a lot of options about when to attend the fair.

I got 14.560 & 14.550 in my runs at LSX Fest today. Not as good as my fastest time of 14.4 (that was in Sept last year & much cooler temps). But much better than yesterday's times of 15.109, 15.239, 15.081 in yesterday's oppressive 93 degree & 98% humidity weather. Today temps were only in the low 70's & by the time we raced after they got the track dried from AM rain, the humidity was down too. I raced against a supercharged SS who ran 10.013 in the first race & a ZL1 who ran 11.613. Both made me look like I was almost sitting still but it was fun!
I am really sad & .............well mad this AM though as Hubby says he cannot take a 3rd day at the fest & does not want me to go by myself. I WANT TO RACE! I WANT TO RIDE ALONG WITH SOMEONE ON AUTOCROSS! (can't drive since I didn't get a fire extinguisher installed). I want to see the COPO Camaro run more passes & all the super modded cars race. I want to watch drift & autocross & drag. I paid for 3 days & it is only a one hour drive for us. I just don't know how I will be able to let go of how upset I will be if I don't get to go today. I just needed to vent.

69supersport396 good luck today with the repairs. BTW we talked to out friend Chuck Hansen from ACES yesterday at the Fest. He was filming for some show but we didn't think to ask him where it would air/be posted. It was good to see him though.
