Vince, we have a small balloon festival here at a little town up in the mountains. What I like is to watch the balloons start to fill will hot air early in the morning before daylight. The balloons are all lit from inside by their heater devices. It looks really neat. Your son took some great pics. Thanks for posting.

Really Nice Pics StentS!

Here are a couple of Friday pics from today. Lining up to drag race at the Holley LSX Fest! It was terribly hot and oppressively humid (flashbacks of C5 Fest) and I had the worst times I have ever run but it was still fun! I will probably only get to make one run tomorrow, It is qualifying & I probably won't qualify, but it will still be fun.

It's been 7 years since I last had to get up and take a puppy outside every few hours.... Oh well, sleep is overrated, right???
I think we've decided on a name... Coco. As in Coco Chanel She responds to it, so it must be right. She's already doing pretty good on a leash, and has taken an interest in the cats. That should be entertaining for a while, at least until she's bigger than them!

Feeling good knock on wood. Went to a wedding yesterday evening solo. Wife had to work a Disney Special Event. Nothing like an outdoor wedding in a beautiful setting on a lake.Squeezed into an old Penguin Suit. Don't do suits here but have to once in a blue moon. Show up and someone forgot to mention it was a Tommy Bahama type wedding. The few people I know there are in Tropic Wear. It's 90 out and I'm being called the Undertaker. and no BS one of the photographers asked if I was with the wedding party. Unfortunately Mother Nature was late with the Afternoon Thunderstorms.Started to rain as the bride and groom were taking their vows:(.Escaped early and ditched the suit.

Jeanette your puppy is adorable I think you came up with a good name for her. I remember those puppy training days from 6 yeras ago with my 2 dachshunds its a lot of work.

It reminds me of my house we will sometimes foster a dachshund while a rescue finds a new home for them. They always seem to hang out with me more than my wife. Then I get attached and get sad when I give them to their permanent home. Its worth it though to know that I helped save them for a new loving family.

Off to the garage to work on the winter car today. I need to change the rear differential seal as its leaking pretty bad. Gotta get it ready for the winter as summer is quickly coming to an end. We also use it as a grocery getter and as a spare car when one of ours needs to go into the shop.
