Times are tough though. My brother drove his 10 gt 500 convertible off the lot for $45,000. Granted that was his third trip up there and I think he was paying cash.,.. But they can't keep making the premium models if they are going to be letting them go like that. I was SHOCKED.

It should be that way though, i get annoyed at the term "affordable performance" muscle cars have lost base with their price, they're supposed to be easily obtainable performance models, now it takes a lot to own one, even hard working middle class homes have a hard time fitting one into the day.

I do hope for 500hp Challengers actually haha, ive been hoping Mopar would jump into the game for a long time now. Mopar has always been known as the take-no-prisoners brand and now they're being the exact opposite as such. I wish they'd start pushing the limits again like they did the first time around, drop that 392 in the SRT8 pushing near 550 naturally aspirated, put the 6.1 in the R/T with a few mods to bump it up around 450 maybe more, and start lightening the Challenger. In fact they might think about putting the Challenger on a smaller platform to help shed some weight and make it an overall nimbler model

Uh that really isn't a fair statement to make. Of course you see more Mustangs than Camaros, the Camaro has only been back in production for a year. Sorry to break it to you but the Camaro will be just as common a car as the Mustang in a couple years time. I don't disagree that the Camaro is more badass but if you bought it for the "uniqueness" you are going to be disappointed.

Why does ALL new Mustang talk have to get compiled into a 65 page thread?

It make's it really difficult on us users that want to read this info.

Not only does it get moved to no man's land(away from most viewers), it all gets thrown together in a big cluster f@&# of thread instead of viewing only motortrends head to head test that was in the VS section or maybe the smokingtire review.

Not cool and almost comes across as being bullied.

There is history behind it. Bottom line is it becomes a mod nightmare to try and manage/babysit a bunch of grown people.

That's a shame because these forums have a large influence on how and why people buy cars. It's sure influenced me in my buying decision. I’ve been a member over at 5thgencamaro since 2008 and lurking here for just as long and decided to join here a year ago.

I personally haven’t seen any childish behavior certainly nothing out of the ordinary by comparison from every other auto forum on the net.

Agreed! Have a soft spot for the foxbodies. '93 Cobra was the pinnacle. The wheels, paint color choices, etc...

(searches e-bay and craigslist.....)
