Canada is not American. Brazil is not American. Guatemala is not American. The majority accept that America is short for United States of America, and would never think 'America' is referring to North America or South America or Central America, particularly when the discussion is about nationalism. they had the mustang at 13.0 @ 110.3 or so. (camaro was ever so slightly faster, not sure exact numbers...go check)

And yes...the srt-8 performance for the price was a "blower". One should just go GT500 or vette in that price range.

The challenger...having the most faithful to the orginal design of the three..is the best looking to my eye (subjective).

The mustang being the smallest...makes it the best..not the worst via being small. It makes it handle better, more fun to drive, easier to see out of and easier to park. Have you ever heard anyone use the "yet but your porsche is too small to be any good argument"?..no....because smaller is often/usaully better in any sort of performance argument.

I think it is what a whole inch shorter than the Camaro? Also just to add the Mustang is still roomier inside and has a larger trunk.

Really? I could have sworn you've brought up forged internals as a reason to buy pre-2011 Mustangs in prior threads. Maybe I'm just confusing you with other Mustang enthusiasts.

Regardless, '10 SS and '11 GT seem to be performing identically so far, so mods will probably be a deciding factor in some peoples minds.

I think your forgetting that GM makes automobiles for a living. Regardless, it doesn't change the point I was getting to which is that this version of the 5.0 is a lot closer to tapped out than the 6.2 is. GM has plenty of room to improve if they decide to.

well of course it does it is a bigger motor and the smaller 5.0 is making more power there fore it is more "tapped out" but this matchup isnt going to be about HP its going to be about weight and traction...i have a mustang and its hook up from a dig even when stock was the worst haha its just old school and the new camaro has a much better set up so its a toss up if you ask me

Fair points. Traction has been an issue for Mustangs, and GM is still sitting out on gearing options for the Camaro. I don't really see 200 lbs being that big of an issue, but to each their own.

Best part about it is both cars are already bad-ass. We're just debating increased (incremental?) bad-assery.

Hopefully Mopar gets moving on the Challenger. I really like the style, but can't get past the comparative price/performance issue.
