Seriously, June 8th, 9th and 10th, we'll be gathering in South Lake Tahoe. We have a small block of rooms booked for that weekend; I think there are 5 left and if any of our Ol' Fart Thread mates is interested in flying or driving in, please PM me and I'll be happy to provide the details. The only hitch is that of the remaining reserved rooms, as of May 8th, those rooms will be released back to the hotel and available to be reserved by the general public.

Bobaloo, we're saying first annual because we hope it's the first of many to come.

It was a very nice car show today. A pleasant/fun drive up & back, beautiful day & good comrads to spend time with. None of our group won any awards or door prizes this year (I guess we got more than our share last year) but we had a great day. Here is a pic of Ruby & Red Raider & a link to more pics:

Yes , I don't we will have four dogs anymore . We can't afford the bills or the heartbreak. Cody is the leader. I don't know which dog will be the leader next.
The two females( Susie and China) aren't the sharpest tools in the shed and they already seem sad. Our other male dog Splash we only have six months, he could be older than 11 , can't hear. Two years ago when we took our dogs to the kennel, while on vacation, the people at the kennel told us Cody was the lookout . He saw us first when we came back and starting barking.

It really was a very good session, Diane. It probably would be easy to organize, as it was a pre-prepared thing provided by AC Delco. It was called "Knowledge is Power", had a nice pamphlet to refer back to, a power point presentation, and a rep from AC Delco was present. The guy here happened to be a former GM employee, so he loved all the 'Vettes and Camaros... Maybe the wives of the guys in your club would be interested? Or you could ask around at shows or cruises to see if other clubs would be interested? It applied to ALL cars. All you would have to do is find a shop to host it, and ask them to call AC Delco to get the program for them...

Morning everyone! Not sure why I'm up so early this Sunday morning, but now that I've already had that prednisone, I won't be going back to sleep, that's for sure... That sh!t's better than caffeine ANY day!
The clouds and drizzle have come back to western WA after 14 consecutive days of sun. Oh well, we need to keep our lawns green somehow...

Hey Bobaloo! You really should come to Tahoe for WCOFF1 with us! Right now, we have Hotrodsally (Linda), Lightning (Jay), WithEnvy & Dragonlady (Gary and Maggie), M3NTA7 & LDYBMBLEBEE (Glen and Janet), and myself (Jeanette) taking long road trips to get there, and StentS (Vince) and CCbusa09 (Jimbo) joining us from Reno once we arrive. For some of us, it will be a happy reunion, for others, we'll be meeting for the first time But we're already like family after all the time we spend in this thread...

Sorry, I didn't see this post before I posted. We're going June 8th through 11th. If your wife is feeling OK a week after chemo, maybe a nice weekend away would be good If she's not, we completely understand, you stay home and take care of your sweetie, and we'll hope to see you at WCOFF2.
We are staying in South Lake Tahoe, walking distance from the gondola up to the Heavenly ski area.
